How To Wake Up To Better Skin

12th July 2017

Most of us put all our energy into our day skincare. However, what if we told you there was a way to wake up with skin that looked and felt healthier? Because the time of day when skin is most receptive to skincare is at night.

As we sleep, skin cells ready themselves to repair all the damage experienced throughout the day from aggressors like stress, pollution and sun exposure. To capitalise on this natural renewal process, applying products when skin is already repairing will maximise results. Think of products as the energy boost skin craves when it’s working overtime - it pays to step up your evening skincare routine.

That’s why we’ve launched the ultimate night treatment for skin. Peptide⁴ Night Recovery Cream-Oil works to restore and replenish your skin against the visible effects of stress and pollution. How? Because the body is controlled by circadian rhythm (a biological clock) which controls everything from normal bodily functions like temperature and hormones to mental alertness. Your skin also has its own biological clock and anything from stress to jet lag can knock it off kilter. Enter Peptide⁴. This clever yeast-derived peptide helps to reset the clock. so they are all ticking at the same time. The result? Skin becomes synchronised to help balance and repair dull, tired and sallow looking skin. Come morning, your skin will look like you’ve had a perfect 8 hours sleep, even if you haven’t, leaving your complexion glowing!

Every skin type will love Peptide⁴ Night Recovery Cream-Oil. Super light, it feels more like a serum than a moisturiser or oil (even the oiliest of skin will love it).

It also contains very high levels of vitamin E thanks to Night Scented Stock oil which has up to 10 times the amount of anti-oxidant vitamin E compared with many other oils used in skincare. The benefits? Firstly, it protects against free radicals; secondly, it can help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; lastly, it helps skin look and feel nourished for a healthy, glowing complexion.

Before you apply it, don’t forget to cleanse thoroughly. Massage Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm into dry skin and then repeat with wet fingers. On contact with water, the balm transforms into a milk which balances the pH of the skin so you don’t get that tight feeling after cleansing. Finish by removing excess product from skin with the damp cloth. Clearing pores allows Peptide⁴ Night Recovery Cream-Oil to penetrate more effectively. If your skin is especially dry, finish with a layer of Pro-Collagen Marine Cream.
