ELEMIS gift collections already come beautifully presented, but we know that for some of you, part of the joy and excitement of Christmas is wrapping your carefully chosen gifts. In fact, for some of you, crafting and designing your gift wrap themes for the season is the main event! So we decided to get a bit craftsy and share our gift wrap inspiration for some of the most loved ELEMIS ranges. Get your paper, scissors, and ribbon ready.
The star ingredient of Pro-Collagen is Padina Pavonica, a Mediterranean algae sometimes called ‘Peacock’s Tail’ due to its fan-shaped appearance. We took this as our starting point using gift wrap and ribbons in opulent jewel tones and gold accents plus a peacock feather as the final flourish. This makes a nice contrast to traditional Christmas colours and the turquoise complements the Pro-Collagen range packaging.
We love the combination of green and gold for BIOTEC and for a twist on traditional gift wrap, we’ve tied the bottles in squares of gold organza so that the recipient gets a glimpse of what’s inside. Of course, if you want it to be a secret until the 25th, you can always wrap the boxes in gold paper and tie with deep green ribbon, adding some miniature baubles for good measure.
Who doesn’t adore Frangipani Monoi? And the beautiful red of the packaging is perfect for this time of year. We’ve made some cute Christmas crackers - which you could make by cutting down your empty gift wrap roll – in which travel size products fit snugly. The scarlet matte metallic paper is tied at each end with black grosgrain ribbon. These make sweet little gifts or you could decorate a tree with them for guests to pick a present from.
Hopefully we’ve inspired you to make an event of it - play carols, drink mulled wine and get in the festive spirit. We shopped at Paperchase for paper, VV Rouleaux for ribbon, and John Lewis for material but let your imagination guide you and get creative with whatever you have to hand.
